Open Source Ventilator Remote Monitoring System

Post by Sam Cervantes »

We’re developing an open-source remote monitoring system for rapidly manufactured adruino-based ventilators in conjunction with medical professionals from the MGB COVID Innovation Center. We have a prototype live on our website now and our goal is to develop, obtain approval, and roll it out as quickly as possible. The software stack is Heroku/Rails – Browser/Javascript – RaspberryPi-Flask – Aruduino/C++. To contribute to the effort, please join the Slack Channel below.

Thank you for information!

After successful test we'll implement that system to use with our hardware for sure!
I think we should be ready next week.

Ok Maciej Zarnowski glad to hear you're close to a test! Our software is still in the demo/concept stage and we don't have certification, but we're making progress quickly. We should probably talk about integration with your product when the time is right. We will need to know what kind of electronics your system uses and which parameters you would like to send to the central dashboard.

Here is the requirements doc we've put together for the data points to be transmitted from the ventilator to the remote monitoring dashboard. Please have a look and let us know if there is anything you would like to add for your particular device:
