Re: Electomagnetic Valve

My suggestion is to use electric linear actuators / push pull solenoids
Example - http://www.modimaz.com/push-pull-linear ... enoids.htm

and attach a 3D printed piston and valve assembly

or use two solenoid water valves....

Current Ventilaid team is working on BiPAP?

Dear team Great efforts by your team. What i understand is 1) You have discontinued V2 bellow type ventilaid. 2) You are working on turbine based BiPAP whether ventilaid's idea is to develop only BiPAP or move further to develop proper ventilator with volume control / pressure control? Assist contro...

Re: Reasoning for moving from v2 to v3

What i know ...(i am not part of core team) 1. V2 has bellows and lot of moving parts - which may not be acceptable to hospitals in europe 2. Control of tidal volume , pressure etc. is difficult - setting of the time taken for piston is not so easy - it requires people to rotate the throttle vales e...

Re: Functions of the ventilator - and how ventilaid fulfills?

3. Adjustable inspiratory time or I:E ratio Correct me someone if I'm wrong. In pressure controlled ventilation, when pressure is applied to the system, lungs are filling in for a certain amount of time Ti. Because of difference in airways ability to accept forced ventilation same pressure will res...

Re: [CPAP] Brainstorm - VentilAid CPAP mk I

they say - for covid19 CPAP is not recommended - is it so??? For covid 19 - they say Less Tidal VOlume PEEP of 5 cmm h2o (now added in the circuit - great) 8-12 breathes per minute? We can adjust the tidal volume in ventilaid by moving the stoppers - by providing chokes in out put of valve we can co...
